We are proud to be recruiting on behalf of our client, a highly supportive and well-established residential setting that provides care for male teenagers with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. This small, specialist service supports young people who have experienced extremely traumatic pasts and offers them a safe, structured, and nurturing environment.
Our client uses Team Teach as part of their care approach and is dedicated to helping young people achieve their full potential through both residential support and their on-site school.
As a Children’s Residential Support Worker, you will:
Build positive and trusting relationships with young people
Support their emotional, social, and educational development
Work as part of a strong, experienced team with 6–7 staff on shift during evenings and weekends
Contribute to a setting that values teamwork, consistency, and compassion
Candidate Requirements:
Level 3 or Level 4 in Children’s Residential Care (essential)
Full UK driving licence (essential)
Previous experience in a residential setting
Resilience, empathy, and commitment to supporting young people with complex needs
